The Online Advertising Recession Officially Begins

Online advertising has officially been hit by the deepening global recession…at least according to TechCrunch.com. While the advertising revenue has been waning in the past few quarters, this was the first quarter in which revenue actually declined, 7% lower than the fourth quarter of last year. The number represents global advertising revenues, including those from the largest online advertising companies - AOL, Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo.
